My state is trying to pass a law where you have to bury or cremate the fetus, which I think is a horrible burden to impose on women. I suppose it’s a law meant to bolster anti-abortion legislation in my very red state. I don’t think the OP is saying that no one has funerals for miscarriages, but rather there are many that would judge the individual doing so as being over-dramatic and say they need to move on which as you said is normally determined by the community.
