Thanks for the Original My Cow Is Smarter Than The President Shirt suggestion, I’ll think about it! I. Started with the moon and then threw some purples/blues/blacks/pinks around it for the sky. The trees were a bit of an afterthought, and the owl is to fix a branch I screwed up :)You should make a how-to video. I teach art (poorly, but doing the best I can), and my kids would love this. As a friend you just haven’t met yet, I gotta say if your kids are asking for homemade holiday decorations, might I suggest mixing up the arts and crafts with a healthy variety of other hobbies. Love the piece though, wow!

My mom used to turn that Original My Cow Is Smarter Than The President Shirts. request by me and my brother around and have us gather leaves, dried corn stalks, grass, pine cones, acorns, etc… and show us how to make our own things. Once she taught me how to bend grass back on itself to hold (basically weaving) and how to use a glue gun, we started making all sorts of stuff: witches, monsters, different animals… Need to dig up those photos and I’ll post if I find them. Beautiful work OP. Originally I thought that was your son’s first attempt at creating decorations. That’s what I get for reading a bit too fast soon after waking up.
