Yeah, everyone here is Good Avengers Happy Halloween Shirt complaining about the 3rd act reveal being a letdown, and I usually hate that too. But, I don’t remember hating it in this film, and that scene with the burning cabin is probably the only reason why. Also, the first time I watched it, those shrieking shrunken heads gave a nasty case of the heebie-jeebies. Overall, the film was pretty great, IMO. Honestly, I think V/H/S is one of the better found footage films out there and the same with its sequel. Which bit was done by him? I haven’t seen it in a while, the only one springing to mind is the vampire girl one and I think that might have been the second one

If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend reading the Good Avengers Happy Halloween Shirt original book. Sometimes I wish the adaptation was a show with 2~3 episodes to convey the physical exhaustion and absolute fear of being trapped in the forest which the book did very well. Not to mention there were more really creepy encounters with the creature which I found sad to see not happening in the movie. Yeah. I’d rather Netflix just funded everything and have some crap as well as some unique new ideas, as opposed to them rigorously vetting everything which inevitably would result in every film proposal being exceedingly safe and unoriginal.
