I wish costumes like this would make an Awesome Catch Flights Not Feelings Shirt comeback. I like it when people put more effort into their costumes and not just buy the generic ones at the store. As a mom, no fucking thank you. I am sure plenty of people had dads who would help them with their costumes, but by and large, this type of thing falls on moms, and I personally have enough shit on my plate. I used to have to try and make my own costume as a kid (single-parent home and my dad was not into it) and it was always sadder than the other kids’ costumes.
