Generally, the lower class does not get holidays off because of the types of jobs they work. I’m required to work weekends and holidays excluding Christmas day, I HIGHLY doubt we’d get a day off to vote. That being said, it’s illegal not to let your employees go vote. But that doesn’t mean you’ll get paid for the time you’re standing at the polls. There is no way to fully close the country.
